About the event
This will be a foundational event to bring together the whole of community of Alaska in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary space to receive trainings on violence prevention, reducing harm, and understanding how to help those who need it to increase the safety and resiliency of our communities. A joint effort from SILO² and a range of local organizations and federal partnerships, the Summit will feature trainings from the Department of Homeland Security Center for Prevention Programs & Partnerships and National Threat Evaluation & Reporting Program Office, the United States Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center, the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and local Alaska community organizations and agencies.
