Team Rubicon is running the Centralized Donation Operations Management Center, a large warehouse that's the former Chugach Electric warehouse at 1120 E 1st Ave in the Ship Creek area. Work Days are for external volunteers from the surrounding community and organizations to help!

About the event
On Tuesday, October 28, a Work Day is being scheduled for community and organizational external volunteers to help at the Team Rubicon Donations Management Warehouse. The needs are for two sets of volunteers for a 4 hour shift, with a cap at 20 external community volunteers per shift.
This event is for Shift A: 9am to 1pm. Another event is for Shift B: 12pm to 4pm. Work is in a very active warehouse, only 18+ years old volunteers can be allowed.
Work includes:
Receiving community donations
Sorting donated goods and ensuring health & safety standards are being followed
Packing donated materials into boxes and containers for distribution to shelters and regional villages
Moving palletized goods with pallet jacks
Moving heavy boxes with utility carts
